Cannot install Zoom on my Dell laptop running Windows 10 - Microsoft Community.

Can you try to contact Zoom support to check on this also. Maybe the installer version you are trying to use is incorrect for the Surface Book 1. When you hit the download button, is there any pop up on message at the bottom of the browser where you could choose between Run or Save? Can you try to access the link using Internet Explorer? If as a Standard User, please try using an Admin account.

However, as is the case with any technological switch, people are finding that they can have a number of issues with it. Most commonly, the connection error is Zoom error If it is, clicking a link to it may cause your connection to be rejected.
Try joining the Zoom ID manually inside the Zoom window. Make sure to allow Zoom in your antivirus or firewall software on your computer, router, or modem.
If your WiFi or Ethernet Drivers are out of date, you should update them to make sure all your software works correctly. If you have an older PC, sharing screen on Zoom might be difficult. Screen sharing is very CPU intensive — and if your computer or drivers are out of date, screen sharing may be difficult.
Some PCs with Nvidia cards have issues with sharing screen. You can resolve this issue in the Nvidia Control Panel by disabling automatic graphic card switching. Make sure you have the correct graphic card drivers installed, and try opening Zoom again after the update.
Sometimes, Zoom updates can cause file issues. Simply uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom should fix this issue. If the zoom installer is failing, you may have full storage or already have the software installed. If it works, it could be problems with the Zoom installer.
